The firm’s principal, James Stuber, has over twenty-five years of experience in key executive and legal positions in the life science, energy, hospitality, health & fitness, and technology sectors.  Mr. Stuber previously spent ten years in Washington, D.C., where he was legislative director for a senior member of the House Energy & Commerce Committee and an associate attorney at the law firm of Hogan & Hartson. 

Mr. Stuber has successfully led the creation and transformation of business organizations in early-stage and turnaround situations.  Mr. Stuber also  has played a key role in the development and commercialization of new technologies, including development of patent portfolios and intellectual property strategies; negotiation of mergers and strategic partnerships with key industry players in the U.S. and abroad; acquisition of funding; formulation and implementation of business plans; negotiations with foreign governments; and development and implementation of regulatory approval strategies. 

Mr. Stuber holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, a master’s degree from Columbia University, and a law degree from Georgetown University.
